Let me be the first to wish you Merry Christmas! Oh, am I too early? I just thought I’d get a head start on the stores who start Christmas sales and decorations earlier every year!!

Is it ever too early to wish you the blessings of the Christ season? Since his name is in the word…Christ-mas, and we are Christ-followers…why not celebrate the birth, life and yes, death of Jesus all year?

Does that mean singing carols? Wrapping presents? I guess you can do that, but I was thinking more along the lines of glory to God and good will toward men (and women and children and anyone else in our sphere of influence!)

 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. (Luke 2:14, KJV)

Prayer- Father, forgive us for living your grace for only a few weeks a year, when you expect us to live it for a lifetime. Amen
