God has been so very gracious in my life. As a youth, I wondered if He heard my prayers, but as I look back in time, I see that He was carrying me all along.
I am a thankful mother of two beautiful boys, and have grown up over these past 20 years with my wonderful supportive husband. God has granted me an abundance of love in the ones I hold close to me, my family. I have learnt much from them and count my blessings every day for the love.
God whispers to all of us through our everyday lives, and if you listen close enough you will see abundance in all things. There are so many opportunities in this life to hear the voice of God and take action. About 5 years ago I went through a near death experience fracturing my neck. I would go through this experience all over again if it brings me to the understanding of where I am today. I am thankful for God allowing me to be his miracle.
One of my favorite creatures is the butterfly, no coincidence that my name means “butterfly”. The interesting thing about a butterfly is that it needs to emerge on its own, by twisting and turning and being patience for a little crack…. The slightest little crack will allow the wings to emerge and become strong and fly. However, to get to that crack is where all of the work and development happens. I see this imagery in my life and my relationship with God. He has been building me, and teaching me to be patient so when I emerge I would be able to soar and fly.
Life is full of twists and turns, it is all how you deal with these twists and turns that makes the difference. We all have the opportunity to make difference every day in our lives and others. It is how we act, react, respond and spend our time that means the most in life. All actions have a ripple effect – this is called the butterfly effect. One simple action can result in great things! Life is a wonderful place when we choose to live in the present and be open to the voice of our God. I looking forward to the continued journey with my Maker.
