Thank You affirmations:

That God is with me wherever I am,

That He will not let me go, let me down or give up on me.

That He is working on my behalf and

He really does see my tears and heartaches.

I was touched by a dear woman who shared her story of finding a lovely 20-year-old daughter after years of misfortune with infertility, it especially touches my heart as I also never had children of my own and truly understand the heartaches that those times can cause a woman to feel.

I know those affirmations sound simple but in my reality they are really big in my life right now.

I am resting and waiting on God, my Heavenly Father, to reveal His will and the next step I should take. It seems it should become easier after so many years, to wait and rest more patiently on Him because He has always been there looking out for me, and many are the times that events turn out so much different than I could ever have imagine!

But even after all these years I am guilty of the human condition of lacking confidence and thinking I have to be perfect and get everything right.

but he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NRSVCE)  So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

This Bible verse empowers me with passion for my Lord Jesus!

Thank You God, my Heavenly Father, for being so patient with me and for loving me enough to send Your Son Jesus and these amazing people such as those that are touching my life in real life & online through prayer groups, Bible Studies, blog posts and comments. As I journey through my earthly life to my heavenly home!

Please consider leaving a comment:  how is God present with you in your earthly journey right where you are today?

  1. Oh Marie, this one of those “for.such a time asnthis” moments reading this right now. I received some hurtful news this morning, plus things aren’t going as I expected with my ministry and I feel a little lost at the moment. Thank you for the reminder that God is in control and He will work things the way He wants them in His timing. There is always as much to.lesrn as there is to.l do in anything He calls us to do. Blessings.

    • Oh Julie, to be truthful I can relate to how you feel much more than
      I really care to admit.
But it truly is a Blessing knowing we need to give it to God and allow Him to guide us.
I am still in the learning mode on this one.
Thank You for taking the time to comment and I pray Blessings be showered on your life!

  3. hello Marie… thank you for this beautiful words put together to encourage hurting hearts… as I sit here pondering my life. Today is the last day I am 47. I am married, two only daughters (21 years apart), and currently separated and going through divorce, and feeling that I am starting over. Twenty four plus years are gone and only memories bad and good, but I have the best gift, my girl - she came after years of infertility, after doctors said I couldn’t conceive and carry a child through, but as always God is good. And I know this too shall pass. I am thankful for family and friends that have been there for me. Thank you.

    • Sweet Shelia what a Blessing to read your comment,
I can really relate to the divorce as I have been since 1978 and I married young because I wanted it all but God sometimes has other plans as I am still in the mist of discovering.
And I never had the Joy of a child of my own, but I do know our Lord loves us and plans to use us for His Glory! Blessings & Thank You again for taking the time to comment!

  4. What a surprise to find your sweet greeting this morning for my current experience and my upcoming 65th birthday! I am also approaching my 7th anniversary for being cancer free. Although I am a believer and a survivor, I have continued to experience health challenges due to chemo treatment, med side effects and immune system issues. I love and trust my Lord, and I get discouraged, sick and tired of being sick and tired. Havenot been able to greturn to my writing with chemo and fibro fog in the way. Thank you for your encouragement.

  5. The deepest and most simple act of Christian discipleship is the interior movement of a believers heart, that secret, intimate affirmation wherein we put our complete trust in His love and care for us as children, creatures of His grace. I like how this testimony speaks to that. How the writer’s words lean on such trust.

  8. Today is my birthday. It is my 42 birthday, and since my daughter Victoria passed away at the age of 16 on November 9th 2012 my birthday didn’t have the same meaning. She was not my only child, but it felt as if my life was ripped from me. I didn’t know how to cope or if I even anted too.
See I was only saved 7 months before Victoria passed away. Prayed for God help and I received help. I have never let me fall not once. I am grateful we have a Good Good Father
With all the love Jesus freely gave

  9. It took me a long time to learn to trust that His grace was sufficient, but once learning to trust that grace was full of wisdom and compassion my life has much more peace. I still have to go through a process to remember that when too much life happens, but the assurance always comes.

  10. After our own struggles with infertility, God has granted the answer to our prayers and we have a little one on the way. There have been moments in the pregnancy that have been difficult and painful, but you included one of my favorite verses that speaks to me in these times. God’s grace is more than sufficient and His power is made perfect in my ongoing weakness. I am so thankful for this chance at another child, come what may. God is good!

  11. Thank you Marie, Our Lord and Savior is ever present in my life. Helping us daily in our struggle to get by right now. Thank you Father for all that you do for me and my family. In Jesus name Amen
