A Cheerful Conqueror

Have you ever worried about the future? Become upset when things didn’t appear like they were going in the right direction? Been tempted with fear that filled your heart? <Trust me, some of these things have been a real struggle for me too. >

No problem. God doesn’t expect me or you to get it right, all at once, every time. <Oh Lord! I feel relieved.>

Just remember….. TRUST IS A PROCESS!

As I mentioned in my recent post about Experiencing the Seriously Unexpected, I am reading a YouVersion Bible Study called UNEXPECTED by Christine Caine. And so today, I am sharing a little more of Christine’s wisdom as her words have really blessed me.

“God wants us to trust him, instead of worry, no matter what our future looks like. Trusting him is a process, not a one-time event. It’s the ongoing journey called life. It’s a cycle we repeat daily, hourly, sometimes even minute to minute, that leads to consistent growth. We overcome, get peace, but then get hit with another unexpected blow. But each time we go through the cycle, we grow stronger and more mature.”

“When we feel like we’re losing heart, God wants us to lean into him: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).”

Can you see this truth? OVERCOMING IS A PROCESS.  <!! THANK GOD !!>
Even though I have made mistakes, God is always big enough to fix them. Even though I may feel like a failure, is God is building and strengthening my  inner most self in HIM. It’s who He is.

Throughout every trial, I can have peace and even joy knowing that ….

HE unconditionally loves me. .

HE freely forgives me.

HE has already overcome the world.

HE has already made me more than a conqueror!

Today, as part of His process, I choose to be of good cheer.
How about you?
