Much of my life has been revelation after revelation. Sometimes a pleasant thing, other times a blaring slap in the face…. Yet always it brings about change in me or my course and results in blessing.

I’ve met many wise people along my journey. From those that have lived long and from the mouths of babes.

The most beneficial and life changing wisdom comes from the TRUTH of God’s Word.

Revelations that reinforce or bring beauty like the nature hike that reminds me of a positive childhood memory and draws me to childlike awe and wonder at God’s artistry in creation…. Bringing greater enjoyment and appreciation of the moment and deeper understanding. Such times are positive reinforcement of my faith.

Revelations that hit me square in the face because they challenge my agenda, highlight sin in my life or rock my views/thoughts can be painful and rivoting! Yet, they too bring blessing because they cause me to examine and change my thoughts/ways to be in line with God’s Word. Greater obedience to Him always brings greater freedom.

I am so grateful for God’s gracious revelations, He uses them to grow me closer to Him. His grace in timing is amazing, for if He revealed everything at once, I might break under the pressure of it all… Instead HE slowly reveals over time, walking me into wisdom, as I am able to grasp it.
