Unexpected Love

Thank You affirmations:

That God is with me wherever I am,

That He will not let me go, let me down or give up on me.

That He is working on my behalf and

He really does see my tears and heartaches.

I was touched by a dear woman who shared her story of finding a lovely 20-year-old daughter after years of misfortune with infertility, it especially touches my heart as I also never had children of my own and truly understand the heartaches that those times can cause a woman to feel.

I know those affirmations sound simple but in my reality they are really big in my life right now.

I am resting and waiting on God, my Heavenly Father, to reveal His will and the next step I should take. It seems it should become easier after so many years, to wait and rest more patiently on Him because He has always been there looking out for me, and many are the times that events turn out so much different than I could ever have imagine!

But even after all these years I am guilty of the human condition of lacking confidence and thinking I have to be perfect and get everything right.

but he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NRSVCE)  So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

This Bible verse empowers me with passion for my Lord Jesus!

Thank You God, my Heavenly Father, for being so patient with me and for loving me enough to send Your Son Jesus and these amazing people such as those that are touching my life in real life & online through prayer groups, Bible Studies, blog posts and comments. As I journey through my earthly life to my heavenly home!

Please consider leaving a comment:  how is God present with you in your earthly journey right where you are today?

  1. There will always be struggles….but God.
He is so faithful. He walks with me each day through the questions and the pain. Through the doubts and the fears….and loves me all the more for them. Right now my God is big. He is is loving, gracious and patient….and He is here! Thank you Marie!

  2. Thank you for sharing so vulnerably, Mary. My heart aches for you: I’m going to pray for you. I recently read Hannah’s prayer in 1 Samuel…I cannot begin to imagine the pain of your yearning.

I struggle with similar things at times, for a different reason: my husband isn’t a believer. The truths you remind us of are precious. Thank you.

    • Hi Anna,

  5. Marie, He is the commander of my life. I live a Christ in life. My daily responsibility to Him is to follow Him, be obedient and to use what He has given me. We have to die to our flesh and desires for Him. It is self sacrifice. In Luke 14:25 – one day when a large group of people were walking along with Him, Jesus turned and told them, “anyone who comes to me but refuses to let go of their father, mother, spouse, children, brothers, sisters, yes even ones own self! -can’t be my disciple. Anyone who will not shoulder his own cross and follow behind me can not be my disciple.” He is the center of my life, everything that i do revolves around Him.

    • Oh sweet Emily this is so true.
And I myself have lived through the times that it has been very painful to cling to Christ.
But He is ever faithful and His yoke is easy as His burden is light, when I find I am in the mist of His Presence I really am able to focus on Him and that is what my next blog post will be about.
Thank You for taking the time to leave your precious and valuable comment Emily, God Bless You!!!

  6. I am humble. All that I am comes from Him, I would not be me without Him. From dust we came, to dust we will return……..I love.

  7. This really spoke to my heart..God has been growing me in patience. There are many times I have wanted to jump ahead, and God has reminded me of waiting on Him.

  10. Where God is with me today! Top 3
    1. In the rebuilding of our marriage
    2. In renewing my mind
    3. Rebuilding my broken heart.
How: My husband and I have been married almost 10 years and we have 8 children in heaven and a special needs child and because there has been so much crisis and who we are has changed. Excepting the healing Jesus is offering has shown us to relate to each other not through our pain and loss but in discovery of gifts!
Renewing of my mind both spiritual and the Nero pathways through essential oils and positive afformation has allowed me to live Joy filled days. I used to say Joy some something I tripped on in the night and as soon as I tripped it was gone. Now joy is my companion!
Growing up in a cult I was born into the tragitity that it all encompasses through a daily practice of possible afformation the PTSD that becomes a leach of abuse no longer has control over me.
I struggle at times but I’ve noticed I no longer and lost and I am able to overcome it all because of Jesus Christ.

    • Gloria I see God has been your constant companion
Will you share a Holy Scripture with us that has helped you?
      Isaiah 61 the whole thing
Thank You Gloria I love that it speaks of
The Good News of Deliverance and have a Blessed weekend!

  11. Marie, thank you for sharing from your heart.

God always has our best in mind and longs for our trust. He will always take us deeper with Him and longs for us to find contentment in Him, first of all and will work on our behalf in all areas of our life. xo Hugs – Lynn
