Romans 5:3-5
“There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling short changed. Quite the contrary… we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!”
A struggle is always brewing. This is life on this side of heaven.
As long as I have lived, my life has been full of trials great and small, accepting Christ as my Lord and Savior didn’t stop the struggles, but changed my perspective while walking through them. I’ve learned that my attitude is evidenced in my actions and people pay attention to how you handle trials. Sometimes my greatest witness of the gospel is how I conduct myself through life’s struggles.
God always has something to teach and strengthen me in every glitch of life and my faith, need and desire to seek The Lord continues to grow. I have often wondered how much I would have desired to know Christ or been so needy of the salvation gift He offers if I had not been in such a deep pit… Praise God for the trials that first brought me to my knees and for those that continue to draw me to be prostrate at His feet!
Shout out praises to The King in ALL things and watch the Holy Spirit generously pour into your life!
Abundant Blessings,
