Grilled Blushing Peaches

Easiest Grilled Summer Dessert Ever!

Summertime and grilling go together just like …. peaches and cream!

And grilling fruit is one of the easiest ways to make a summer dessert special! I got a little too enthusiastic at the fruit market and bought too many peaches. Since my husband was out of town, he couldn’t help me eat them up, so I thought this up instead. Because I was feeling a bit lonely, I decided to invite friends over for dessert and ice tea.

After the invite was accepted, I checked to make sure that I had some good quality Vanilla Bean ice cream, as well as some delectable caramel sauce. Then I selected six of the nicest peaches and made up this simple and simply good dessert!

Ingredients:

  • 6 Ripe Peaches, cut in half

  • Grapeseed or Canola Oil

  • Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

  • Caramel Sauce

  • Blueberries for Garnish

Instructions:

  • Wash and cut peaches in half

  • Brush each half with Grapeseed oil

  • Spray grill with Pam to prevent any possibility of sticking

  • Place each half cut side down on grill – you want to get “grid marks” on those peaches!

  • Grill for 3-5 minutes, before turning, brush oil on top of peaches and turn

  • Grill for an additional 2- 3 minutes

Remove and set 2 grilled peaches on each plate; add ice cream and warmed caramel sauce. Dig in! Yum!

Beautiful and easy! And, after all, isn’t that what summertime is supposed to be all about? (You know that saying … Summertime and the living is easy…) Friends, good food and a warm summer evening, that’s summertime for me!

Hoping that your summer is going wonderfully and allowing you lots of time to spend with your family and your favorite people!

Until next week, wishing you all of God’s blessings, good health and happy eating!

Smiles and Blessings,

Maria
